There’s a popular phrase about ‘saving the best for last‘ and on Sunday evening of Weekend One, Tomorrowland may just have done that. Following the weekend performances from the likes of Alesso, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, Axwell, and many more, Steve Angello was closing the live stream on Sunday night, performing to the packed Tomorrowland main stage.

Opening with his atmospheric ‘Rejoice’, the Swedish House Mafia legend whizzed through a dynamic cut which included classic thumper ‘Knas’ and Thomas Gold & Corey James collaboration ‘Orinoco.’ With Corey now signed to Steve’s SIZE Records label, the boss further supported the UK talent by spinning Corey & David Pietras’ remix of ‘Nothing Scares Me Anymore’, before paying tribute to Avicii, with the Swede’s 2011 classic, ‘Levels.’

But perhaps the most iconic moment of the electrifying set came when Sebastian Ingrosso joined Steve on stage as the pair played their SHM hits ‘Save The World’ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child’. With the Axwell Λ Ingrosso project headlining worldwide in recent years, this was the first time in many years that ravers were treated to the Angello Λ Ingrosso combination, and following Swedish House Mafia’s return at Ultra Miami in March, the super-trio will embark on a world tour in 2019.
