Brook Gee – Saturday Night

Kiwi DJ/Producer Brook Gee is back with a tantalizing Electro House single, ‘Saturday Night‘ on his imprint Brooke Gee Records. Born in New Zealand, his passion for music started from a very young age, when he learned to play the guitar and started to play in various rock, pop, jazz and blues bands. Upon starting a Bachelor of Music, Brook discovered his love for EDM and ultimately decided to begin his electronic music journey.

Featuring an Electro House sound palette, the track’s calm demeanour gives off a Progressive atmosphere. As the same chord progression repeats throughout the track, the ever-progressing lead synths, combined with the in-and-out vocal slices keeps the track sounding fresh. While no real build-up or drop are evidently exhibited, the song’s seamless evolution voids the need for them.

Currently, Brook is contributing much of his time to music production and has released a vast array of tracks, ranging from House to Tech, to Progressive. His first work was released in 2012 by label iBounce Records. In 2017, his chart-topping track, ‘Never Let You Go‘ signed to Matrix Music Records, reached number 13 in Switzerland’s dance charts.
