Kicking off its second ever season with a bang, Hï Ibiza has a number of thrilling residencies to offer this year. One of the most sought-after residencies at the venue this summer is Cream Ibiza, which boasts a stacked lineup for each of its dates. Last week, Cream Ibiza celebrated its official opening party with a huge lineup including the likes of Steve Angello, Afrojack, Oliver Heldens and NERVO. Naturally, the venue was packed from start to finish due to the esteemed artists on the bill and the level of anticipation around the residency.

First on the bill was Australian duo NERVO, who effortlessly warmed up the crowd with a number of classic hits. One of the highlights of their set occurred when they dropped their Nicky Romero collaboration ‘Like Home‘ mashed up with Martin Garrix‘s ‘Pizza‘, creating a euphoric moment in the breathtaking club. The whole set was packed with energy and enabled the atmosphere in the club to reach lofty heights very early in the show.

Next up, Dutch house legend Oliver Heldens provided his own unique energy, treating attendees to an array of classic house anthems as well as future house hits. His iconic anthem ‘Gecko‘ sent the crowd into a frenzy and reminded the audience exactly why he has been able to reach such popularity in his career. His euphoric blend of future house and tech house proved a hit with attendees and provoked a monumental crowd reaction.

When Dutch star Afrojack took to the stage, the atmosphere immediately went through the roof. His signature style caused mayhem in the crowd, accompanied by a stunning visual display. His ability to react to the crowd and shift to the taste of his audience quickly became clear as he provided a set that had maximum impact. Towards the end of his set he dropped his recent hit with HardwellHands Up‘, which caused pandemonium in the crowd.

Next up was Swedish icon Steve Angello, who provided a set filled with classics and brand new anthems. He revisited many of Swedish House Mafia‘s classic hits, which undoubtedly proved popular with the audience who sang along to every word. He also performed a number of his own hits, including ‘Rejoice‘ and ‘Paradiso‘, which were all met by roars of approval from the crowd.

Bringing the night to a close was one of the UK’s fastest rising stars Anthony Probyn, who has always remained a regular feature at Cream’s events. Throughout the night, the club room simultaneously provided stellar sets, featuring artists including Jonas Blue, CID and Paul Reynolds. The Cream Ibiza residency is set to continue every Sunday until 23rd September and will feature artists including Hardwell, Diplo, Robin Schulz, Don Diablo, MK, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and many more unmissable acts.
