Classic footage shows David Guetta vinyl performance at Space Ibiza

With vinyl gradually phased out by mp3 files, many dance fans accused famous DJs like David Guetta of taking the easy way out, and using the new electronic format to manipulate fans with pre-recorded sets. But with the topic still a sore talking point in the EDM industry, Guetta in particular can prove to fans that his skill-set is one of the world’s finest, with footage emerging of his stellar performance at Space Ibiza in 2003.

Playing at the now defunct venue in Playa den Bossa, David spins an incredible 4 vinyls, working the crowd into a frenzy whist playing on the terrace 15 years ago. Widely regarded by many as one of modern dance music’s true grandfathers and pioneers of the genre, David Guetta has since gone on to score a wealth of commercial hits, teaming up with vocalists such as Flo Rida, Akon, and Kelly Rowland.

But back in 2003, you can see Guetta displaying his more underground side in this footage, sending the Balearic ravers wild. A true legend of the industry, this video was uploaded to David’s very own Instagram account, and can be viewed below:
