Constantly on the move and the groove, Thomas Wesley Pentz, better known as Diplo has been one of the busiest music producers on the electronic dance scene this year so far and is showing no intention of slowing down any time soon. While March saw the release of his much-awaited ‘California‘ EP, the DJ who is well known for being one-third of the hugely popular electronic dance music act Major Lazer is back with a stunning ‘California’ remix package on his Mad Decent imprint.

Kicking off the collection of remixes, ‘Dont You Worry‘ which features American rapper and singer Lil Yachty and Santigold gets a rework from Key N Krates to deliver smooth vibes and soft sounds, making for an easy on the ear listening experience. On the opposite end of the spectrum, UNKWN adopts the trap structure and tinny beats for his ‘Suicidal‘ remix which features Desiigner. The stunning track ‘Look Back‘ which saw Diplo team with DRAM for this production gets a heavy remix by QUIX who does not hold back on the bass.

The fourth track on the ‘California EP’ saw Trippie Redd lend his vocals for ‘Wish‘ which sees a Jarreau Vandal remix filling this production with summer vibes and vibrant melodies. TWERL teams up with electronic artist Max Styler for a invigorating remix of ‘Colour Blind‘. The final remix sees Tony Romera turn ‘Get It Right‘ into a perfect summer anthem and a rhythm for the dance floors across the world.

The remix collection is sure to get you in the mood when the sunshine comes out and the six tracks will make you want to have packed away in your party playlists. Diplo shows us again just why he is undoubtedly one of biggest names in electronic music right now. Check out the music producer laying down the groove at a rooftop party with Boiler Room.
