Diplo & MØ – Sun In Our Eyes

A little over two months since their last major collaboration in ‘Stay Open‘, both Diplo & MØ have teamed up yet again for their latest tune ‘Sun In Our Eyes‘. The infamous duo have an impeccable working relationship dating back to their global hit ‘Lean On‘ with Jillionare and Walshy Fire of Major Lazer. It seems like just yesterday when the tune ambushed airwaves across the globe – so much so that no matter where you went it always seemed to be playing.

However since then, the duo have released a medley of other collaborations ranging in style from one of their most recent upbeat collaborations in ‘Get It Right‘ to their mellow hit ‘Cold Water‘ which featured both Justin Beiber as the focal vocalist and MØ as the tunes echoing harmonizer. No matter, the duo constantly seem to be at work devising their next hit and while not the most dancehall-esque tune, the two truly deliver with ‘Sun In Our Eyes‘. The groovy vocal driven tune makes use of MØ’s impressive range and vibrato. The ever moving melody of the tune catches the ear just the right way.

With the release of the tune the danish singer also announced her new album ‘Forever Neverland’ which will arrive October 19 via Columbia Records. When asked about the tunes creation and what made her select the tune as the go ahead single for the upcoming album MØ said,

“We both loved ‘Sun In Our Eyes’ from the beginning and what makes it special to me is that it’s a combination of the two ingredients I’m always craving in music: uplifting and melancholy vibes.”

She also divulged her excitement about the albums release date via Twitter saying,

“I’m just so so grateful and happy that I can finally announce that it’s coming out and that I CAN’T WAIT to share it with you…”
