Techno and Drumcode fans have a lot to get excited about this summer, as the first edition of Drumcode Festival will take place on the 18th of August at the industrial former shipyard NDSM in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In November last year, Drumcode head-honcho and techno legend Adam Beyer revealed that he was set to team up with Awakenings to host the debut edition of the festival at one of Amsterdam’s most iconic venues. Six weeks prior to its premiere, the festival’s stellar line-up and set times have been announced.

The NDSM wharf will turn into a real techno Mecca on August 18, as Drumcode will welcome more than 25 renowned techno DJs and upcoming talents, spread out over 4 colour-coded stages (Red, Purple, Blue and Orange). Each area represents a different array in the wide spectrum of the Drumcode sound, with Adam Beyer himself headlining the Red Stage alongside none other than Joseph Capriati, Pan-Pot, Ilario Alicante, Julian Jeweil and Layton Giordani. The Blue Stage features techno heavyweights Pig&Dan, Bart Skils, Mark Reeve, Marco Faraone, Enrico Sangiuliano and Joel Mull, while the amazing Belgian Amelie Lens will close out the stage.

Drumcode Festival’s Purple Stage showcases the darker, heavier side of techno and welcomes acts like Arjun Vagale, Boxia, Harvey McKay, Dense & Pika, Luigi Madonna & Roberto Capuano. Another very popular female DJ will take her place behind the decks to end the night, as Nicole Moudaber is set to close out the stage. Lastly, the Orange Stage (hosted by Truesoul, Drumcode’s little brother label) will present a combination of house and techno, by the likes of La Fleur, Tiger Stripes, Reset Robot, Nick Curly, Adam Port B2B &Me and Swedish veteran Ida Engberg.

With this massive line-up, Drumcode Festival is already guaranteed to become a huge success, while attracting thousands of excited techno fans to the Dutch capital. Check out the full line-up, ticket info and other festival information right here.
