Fehrplay – The Walk

Norwegian producer/DJ Fehrplay unleashes “The Walk” ep. Full of moody vibes, progressive rhythms, and nonstop energy, Fehrplay drops some of his best on Mood of Mind. Following the techno infused release of  Moffe & Fabik on Mood of Mind with a 3 track Progressive masterpiece that is a testament to both the prowess of Fehrplay and the label.

With releases on labels like Anjunabeats, Deep House London, and Pryda, Fehrplay is a force to be reckoned with. This 3 track ouevre contains the tracks “Roma“, “Stranded“, and “The Walk“. The Norwegian producer gained major recognition 6 years ago when he was the second producer to be added to the Pryda roster commanded by Eric Prydz. Over the years he has consistently delivered smooth progressive pieces that are sure to please any fan of moody, progressive house and techno.

Keeping things cinematic and ambient, Fehrplay places the overwhelming majority of his tracks in minor keys, “The Walk” EP is no exception. The track “Roma” is bouncy, full of crisp plucks, and surprisingly melodic. Many of the producers signature soundscapes come alive in this EP. Characterized through airy stabs and revolving pads, the producer creates track that truly warp themselves to life. “The Walk” has a rather Hans Zimmer vibe to it, incredibly cinematic and very serene. “Stranded” is the most progressive number on the EP, vibrant plucks and massive swoops and pads fill the air to add to the tech glory.
