Live: Afrojack takes over Tomorrowland’s mainstage
Dirty Dutch pioneer Afrojack is ready to take his place on the Tomorrowland mainstage. The Wall Recordings head-honcho graced his own Jacked stage last weekend, alongside a plethora of talent, including Laidback Luke, Ummet Ozcan and Dubvision.
A prominent hit-maker in both the EDM and mainstream/Pop markets alike, Afrojack’s long string of successful tracks include ‘Take Over Control‘ with Eva Simons, ‘Hey Mama‘ with David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha and ‘Give Me Everything‘ with Pitbull, Ne-Yo and Nayer.
In a recent interview, the Dutchman discussed how ‘Give Me Everything’ came about and the simplicity behind the track that reached Platinum certification in 13 different countries:
“[It was a] very, very happy, basic, simple tune…I think I was in the studio for like five hours with the towel around me, and I made like the whole instrumental of the track.”
Fast forward to 2018, and Nick is still going strong. Fresh off of his set from last week, filled with classic throwbacks, as well as a tantalizing performance at Ultra Europe earlier this month, the Dutchman is set to bring the fire in what promises to be a scintillating performance!
I’m very excited to play at @tomorrowland mainstage this Saturday!! Be ready for some brand new Afrojack and Wall music! Make sure to check out my livestream at 8:50pm CEST – https://t.co/ZZfkdkmyAR ?? pic.twitter.com/0q6JJF8sRQ
