This year, fans were left in awe once again as Neversea met and exceeded all expectations, inviting a vast number of high-profile artists to take to the stage and deliver monumental performances across the festival’s five glorious stages. Over the four day festival over 210,000 people from around the globe were in attendance, an absolutely staggering number for the festival’s second edition.

Set on the beach in Constanta, Romania, the festival boasts an incredible backdrop for its performances, with sets running through the night and into the early hours of the morning during the sunrise. The festival site itself was a wonderland of activities, shops and picturesque photo opportunities where attendees were able to capture the moment and share their experience with the world. As well as offering a range of worldwide cuisine, the festival also offered a number of bars serving quality cocktails. Partygoers were even able to purchase clothing and accessories from designers at the boutique shopping area, as well as official Neversea merchandise from the main clothing store. The location was certainly reflected in the event’s atmosphere, which effortlessly balanced relaxation with euphoria and escapism.

On the first night, attendees were treated to jaw-dropping sets from leading artists including Dutch megastar Hardwell, dynamic duo Lucas & Steve, Norwegian mastermind Alan Walker and Amsterdam-based power-duo Yellow Claw, plus many more. Although it seemed impossible for Neversea to top its first two days, on the third day the atmosphere within the festival grounds reached new heights, particularly during Armin van Buuren‘s breathtaking performance which lasted five hours, with the sunrise on the beach providing a spellbinding backdrop. Taking to the stage, he instantly declared “Romania, I am home”. Other highlights of the night included Tujamo, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, John Newman, Âme, Chase & Status, and Camo & Krooked. Partygoers were well and truly spoilt for choice and were able to sample artists from a variety of genres across the music spectrum.

The final night of the festival brought Neversea 2018 to a close in truly spectacular style.
