Home Uncategorized Sam Feldt forced to cancel summer tour due to broken leg

Some extremely unfortunate news has surfaced out of the Sam Feldt camp. The Dutch DJ/Producer recently sustained several injuries, including a broken leg after a scooter accident in his home country. In a prompt press release, it was revealed that on July 12th Sam will have surgery followed by a minimum of 6 weeks that are needed for rest and revalidation. It’s due to these injuries Sam Feldt will not be able to see out the remaining dates on his 2018 Summer tour.

Following the news of the cancellation Sam released a heartfelt letter to his fans penning further details around his injury and upcoming surgery saying,

“Unfortunately, during my recent scooter accident I sustained a tibial plateau fracture, which is a nasty break in the upper part of my lower leg. I need surgery to be able to heal properly, which is scheduled for Thursday July 12th.

Sam also deeply apologies to his fans and loving supporters around the globe for the unfortunate circumstances, saying,

“I can’t put into words how sad I am about cancelling these shows and the whole situation. I am deeply sorry to all my fans that were looking forward to seeing me and the band live. Me and my team are working really hard together with promoters to reschedule the shows to a later date.”

With major performances such as Tomorrowland, Nature One, Parookaville, Black Sheep Festival and Top Hill in Montenegro all on his list of upcoming shows, we’re rightfully deflated for Sam as well. All we can do is a fan base is collectively wish health and a speedy recovery to Sam. On a brighter note however, it was revealed that this incident will not inhibit any new releases from Sam. Meaning, while we’re not certain we’ll see him on the road for at least another 2 months following the unfortunate injury, we can certainly look forward to some new releases.
