Ultra Australia opens ticket registration for 2019 shows
Ultra Australia recently announced the massive expansion of the globally renowned festival to two cities across the Australian continent. The expansion of the event to two full-scale festivals for 2019 will return to Melbourne with world-class talent on Saturday, February 23rd and will head to Sydney the following day for the first time on Sunday, February 24.
2018 marked Ultra’s first expansion into Australia, with Melbourne hosting the Road To Ultra back in February this year. Big international names such as Carnage, Afrojack, KSHMR and Andrew Rayel made the long trip down under, while home-grown talents Timmy Trumpet, Will Sparks, Tigerlilly and Mashd N Kutcher also graced the stage.
The main headline act, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, were originally scheduled to close out the festival, however, Sebastian Ingrosso experienced complications at the airport, rendering him unable to perform as Axwell did the honours solo. A memorable set for all fans in attendance, the Axtone head-honcho played plenty of old Swedish House Mafia classics in his first trip down under since he and Seb toured with the now-defunct festival, Stereosonic back in 2015.
While no details on lineups or venues have emerged as of yet, rest assured, all will soon be revealed. To gain access to the first round of tickets for Ultra Australia, be sure to register here.
