Tomorrowland residents Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike‘s well established label Smash The House has always been known for its hard hitting drops, heavy big room bangers, and all round festival tunes. Iconic releases like BassjackersBring That Beat‘ and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s collaboration with Ummet OzcanThe Hum‘ have made a name for the big room label, and their showcases at festivals are no different. This years Tomorrowland Smash The House line up was fronted by the likes of Brennan Heart, Wolfpack, Quintino, and ‘The Hum‘ producers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Ummet Ozcan, but the stand out performance came from Willem van Hanegem and Wardt van der Harst AKA W&W. The Dutch duo took over the stage and this is one you need to hear.

Bringing their collection on big room bangers to the Smash The House stage from 8:30-9:30, Willem and Wardt made the most of their hour long set, taking the crowd on a journey through the years of W&W, whilst firing some fresh ID’s in too. Leading the set out with an intro edit of ‘Put ‘Em Up‘, the pair continued to keep the energy high with not only their tracks but their guests too. Timmy Trumpet made a special appearance for his track ‘Freaks‘ to be played, plus a surprise showing from Maurice West for a new ID with W&W. The set was extra special in every single way, and W&W really do know how to throw a party during their one hour slot. Dropping numerous bootleg’s and remixes too, such as their bootleg of Eminem‘s ‘The Real Slim Shady‘, the set was both relatable and enjoyable. The set was packed with high energy throughout due to plenty of heavy drops, but also some different genre’s added in there made for variety within the track selection. The duo’s collaboration with Vini ViciChakra‘ and their hardcore track with Darren Styles titled ‘Long Way Down‘ also featured, showing the range of these two incredible producers.
