Just a few weeks ago, Afrojack dropped his new single ‘Step Back’ ft. MC Ambush, a highly energetic festival banger which will be included on his forthcoming ‘Press Play’ EP. The full 14-track EP is set to drop on August 31st and leading up to this date, the Wall recordings label boss has just released another basshouse single which will be featured on it. The track is called ‘Bassride’, and as the name rightly implies, it is yet again and infectious bass house anthem, ready to take any mainstage by storm.
Afrojack, who has delivered some massive sets this summer at festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Untold Festival, already dropped ‘Bassride’ in his Tomorrowland set one month ago. The track is full of bass house elements and once again showcases the Dutchman’s signature high-pitched synths, while leading up to a massive, exploding drop. Fans of this typical Afrojack track are truly taken on the rollercoaster bassride of a lifetime.
The full ‘Press Play’ EP will be a collection of some of Afrojack’s previously released work and a series of new productions. The EP is also expected to include music by Jewelz & Sparks, Disto, Chasner and Chico Rose, who have all joined the Dutch DJ/producer’s Wall Recordings brand. It’s been Afrojack’s mission over the years to help top talents in their development and to join him on tour as well. Altogether the EP will be a very versatile project, which has something to offer for everyone.
