Alesso gets nostalgic in Creamfields set
Swedish main man and festival staple Alesso has been lighting up festival grounds the entire summer. Preforming all over the globe and at festivals such as Ultra, EDC, Ultra Europe, Tomorrowland, Alfa Future People and now Creamfields, the influential Swede put his time tested progressive house style on display for the masses at Creamfields 2018.
The set which was packed with progressive house tunes of the past and mashups galore saw a side of Alesso fans and listeners know very well. Of course featuring some of his most incredible tunes to date including his ‘Pressure‘ remix, ‘If I Lose Myself‘, ‘Under Control‘ and more, Alesso certainly took us on a memorable stroll through the past, eliciting pure nostalgia and emotion from Creamfields attendees who came to witness Alesso’s brilliant set. Fans obviously went mental and loved every minute.

If anything in particular stands out about the set though certainly its the focus on mashups over original or new tunes. According to 1001tracklists, out of the 13 track set, Alesso loaded the decks and featured 5 monster mashups. The 27 year old put on a show with mashups including tunes such as The Chainsmokers & Coldplay’s ‘Something Just Like This‘, Avicii’s ‘Wake Me Up‘, D.O.D’s ‘Bones‘ and Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s ‘More Than You Know‘.
While there has been no official audio released of Alesso’s set quite yet, relive the blockbuster Creamfields 2018 set via the 1001tracklists listing here.
