Black Coffee & David Guetta drop unexpected collaboration ‘Drive’

Not usually two names you would associate together… But Black Coffee and David Guetta have made a new track, and this one is seriously impressive! Known for his rhythmic blend of deep house and African-focused beats, South African producer Black Coffee is currently in the midst of another huge summer residency at Balearic super-club Hï Ibiza. The club nights soon became the hottest tickets in town during Ibiza 2017, and so the Durban-born star was asked to return for the 2018 season.

The new track, titled ‘Drive’ sees Coffee team up with David Guetta on the release, and though David has been one of the pioneering forces of house music in his career, the Frenchman is perhaps best known for his more pop-focused records in recent times, teaming up with artists like Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, and Akon in the past decade.

Grabbing attention with performances at the likes of, FabricLive, BPM Festival, Sonar Barcelona, Mixmag Live, SW4, and two consecutive seasons as a one of Circoloco’s most talked about residents, Black Coffee’s debut album single ‘We Dance Again’ featuring Nakhane Toure triumphantly climbed to the #1 spot on iTunes, with ‘Drive’ is out now via Ultra Records.

Doubling up as CEO of UK company The EVENT, Gable also works as a tour manager, playlist curator, dance music influencer, and DJ, under his JK-GBL alias.
