Cast your mind back to the summer of 2015. David Zowie had just released ‘House Every Weekend’ and an army of shuffling ravers had descended on Ibiza for the 20th anniversary celebrations of BBC Radio 1‘s annual pilgrimage to the island. In the dance world, acts like Galantis were scoring huge success with tracks like ‘Peanut Butter Jelly‘, whilst Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso had just teamed up to bring a memorable night to the people of London‘s Alexandra Palace.

But as August arrived, there was only one record which was dominating both radio and club play worldwide, and it came from British quartet Calvin Harris and Disciples. With the London trio teaming up with Scottish superstar Calvin on the release, ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ utilised a thumping bassline and seductive hook, shooting to the number one spot in charts all over the world.

Though it might be tough to believe that 3 years have passed since this release, the track remains one of Calvin’s most popular in his live sets – with Chris Lake later delivering a gorgeous remix of the production – and can be heard below!
