David Guetta’s Ocean remix for Martin Garrix and Khalid is on its way

Continually pumping out high end productions and top 40 hits, David Guetta has revealed via Twitter he’s been working on a remix for one current top 40 hit. That’s right, remember the chart smashing collaboration that was set to debut at the beginning of the summer? Which one you ask? Well, it contained one of EDM’s youngest superstars and one of R&B’s youngest breaking talents.

If you haven’t guessed it by now, we’re talking about Martin Garrix & Khalid’s ‘Ocean‘ the collaboration that stole hearts with it’s raw, sublime emotion recieves another remix to expand upon it’s already vast 2 full remix pack volumes. Happy to tease his remix for his “lil bro”, David Guetta seemingly will take the tune in a much more club-friendly house direction according to the brief 15 second video clip.


Joined by remixes from artists such as Don Diablo, Dubvision, Syn Cole and more, David Guetta’s may just become the shimmering jewel of the lot. It’s much to early to tell, specifically because of how short the clip is however Guetta never lacks when it comes to his remixes, providing some of the most well received remixes to top 40 tunes to date.

The tune which since it’s debut has sat amongst Spotify’s Global Top 50, has accrued over a quarter of a billion plays/views between both Spotify and YouTube. In just 2 months time, those are some pretty impressive statistics. Needless to say, Guetta who came off a Tomorrowland performance for the ages has yet another must watch tune, albeit a remix, set to debut this Friday August 17th.
