Home Uncategorized Diplo set to spin back-to-back with Flume at Burning Man Festival this Friday

With the legendary Burning Man Festival already underway since last Saturday, more and more last minute news is being shared about the DJs that will make an appearance in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. Diplo for example, has now announced through his social media channels that he will spin a back-to-back set with none other than Flume this Friday. The 39-year old Major Lazer frontman has a pretty busy schedule at the event this year, as he is set to perform three days  in a row, at several different stages of the festival. In total, Diplo will deliver a whopping total of 13 sets in the Nevada desert.

In Diplo’s posts he revealed that he will incorporate lots of different genres of music in his sets. Fans who travel to Burning Man can expect a mix of 80’s, Dancehall, Afro House, Trap and Deep House, and the posts even mentions a “weird” set. Diplo has played solo at Burning Man before, as well as teamed up with Skrillex and Jack Ü, whereas Australian house producer Flume will make his debut on this years’ edition of the festival, which will end on Monday, September 3rd. Diplo and Flume teaming up behind the decks definitely isn’t your typical daily line-up, so we are very curious to see and hear what type of set the pair will cook up together.

After Burning Man, the storm doesn’t quite calm down for Diplo just yet, as he also has upcoming gigs in Mexico at Darkwoods Dream Festival (September 1st), as well as another edition of his own ‘Mad Decent Presents: Diplo and Friends’ in Philadelphia on September 2nd.
