Kabutey – Euro African American EP

Ghanaian DJ/Producer Kabutey is proud to present is latest EP; ‘Euro African American‘. Drawing inspiration from various backgrounds, Kabutey’s latest work pays tribute to his ties all across the globe. The multi-genre EP also features Electro House, Trance and Trap-inspired tracks.

Speaking about his inspiration behind the EP, Kabutey explained the following:

“‘Euro African American’ is an EP celebrating my heritage. Euro because my great grand father is French from Marseilles. African because i was conceived by Ghanaian parents and raised in Ghana, West Africa. American because i was born in Brooklyn and currently live in New York. It is scheduled for release on Neitreug Records June 27th.”

Having gained a keen interest in electronic music from a young age, Kabutey eventually established himself as a DJ in 2012 and has since established his name within the industry. His Mixcloud mixes consistently chart in the top 100 in their respective genres and has also been featured by Skilly Magazine, BWD Magazine, and Secrets of The Sun. The New York-based DJ has also been known to incorporate live rap in his sets, most notably doing so at MTV Tr3s’s Batanga Beach Festival.
