Diplo, Sia and Labrinth are three artists who need little to no introduction, having built up incredible catalogues of successful releases and performances over the years. It is therefore not a surprise that the new single ‘Thunderclouds’ from their collaborative project LSD is a truly memorable one. Building on the tremendous success of their release ‘Audio’ earlier this year the pop supergroup is building anticipation for their debut album, which is set to release via RECORDS LLC./Columbia later this year.

The track with Sia’s unmistakable voice singing a remarkably catchy hook accompanied by bass and guitar sounds. The track develops by introducing a spectacular vocal performance by Labrinth, driven by an emotional delivery, strong lyrics and great harmonies. Diplo really did an outstanding job on this production to bring out the best from both artists. The track artwork appears to build on the cartoonish, trippy theme that has defined this supergroup on their previous releases, with the animated visuals continuing the bizarre, playful narrative of its predecessors. LSD recently took to Sia’s YouTube channel to release a Behind The Scenes outtake of the official music video to their song ‘Audio’. The video showcases the three artists travelling the city of LA with glimpses of director Ernest Desumbila plying his trade to craft out the impressive final video. Be sure to check out the ‘behind the scenes’ video here.

Diplo is definitely having an incredible year so far, consistently delivering new music and remixes whilst balancing his hectic tour schedule, showing once again he is one of the most talented and versatile DJ and producer in the scene. His ability to collaborate with a wide range of artists is also admirable, with rumors going round that he will be working with the likes of Madonna, Dua Lipa and Mark Ronson in the near future.
