Martin Garrix featuring Khalid – Ocean (David Guetta Remix)

With two remix packs for the tune already released featuring the likes of Don Diablo, Dubvision, MYRNE and more, Martin Garrix & Khalid’s summer smash ‘Ocean‘ receives yet another groovy remix. This time, it’s French electronic superstar David Guetta who hops on the keys for the club ready deep house remix. Judging off the quick 15 second teaser video, while it was expected the tune was going to be ready to hit the clubs surely no one expected the unique flavor Guetta gave the tune.

In fact, the originally somber tune is directly contrasted by the remixes upbeat relaxing sound. It’s the frenchman’s versions of the ever popular ‘Ocean‘ which gives off an atmosphere and ambiance that almost take the raw emotional sting we all know, out of Khalid’s spacious top-line. A fresh new take on something meant for summer, Guetta truly makes the remix his own.

Compared to the original, the remix takes listeners on an entirely different sonic journey encapsulating sunshine, and those warm summer Ibiza nights. Of course there will be competition for the top remix amongst the lot of contemporaries and who better than to potentially close the door on the lot of remixes. From big bro to “lil bro” Guetta certainly delivered something different.
