Martin Van Lectro – High on Life

Martin Van Lectro is one of Vienna’s most promising up-&-coming electronic dance music artists right now. The outstanding success of his eagerly anticipated solo single, ‘Never Know’, caught the attention of Universal Music, who signed him shortly after. Only a year later Martin has founded his own label #Lectronation and released both hit singles Let It Go feat. Menno and I’ll Be There for You.

The track sounds like a Summer anthem from the get-go. Reverb-soaked vocals, warm pianos and a lovely guitar all prove to be a dreamy combination. As the breakdown and build-up arrive, the vocal intensity steps up a notch, perfectly setting up the drop. As the drop comes around, bright synths & horns link up with a warm bassline, before rapid vocal slices enter the mix, giving the track a whole ‘nother level of energy!

Martin Van Lectro’s interest in music started at an early age. He was only eight when he began playing the piano, followed by the drums later on. His breakthrough came, upon being discovered by the internationally successful DJ duo Shaun Bate & MD Electro. Martin Van Lectro’s first track was released on the duo ‘s label Munix Music shortly after.
