METAFO4R drop electric set on the main stage of Tomorrowland 2018
Progressive and electro house duo METAFO4R took down the main stage during weekend 2 of Tomorrowland 2018. Playing a set that was overwhelmingly full of new music, they managed to combine the best of both worlds. Combining both new and old Dubvision and Firebeatz energy into one high calibre set. Even managing to include some Kanye West, Flume, and Kendrick Lamar, METAFO4R decided to keep things interesting.
Ever since they came into existence, the new group has been an exciting development for progressive house. This would be the first time the group came to play Tomorrowland 2018. Their set was 50% new music, compromised of lashing electro jams that might be released in the near future. They managed to match up their music over well known acapellas like “Lift Yourself“, “Never Be Like You” from Flume, and many more.
Their set contained many cinematic pauses as lush strings and voices set the stage for the next drop. Their set was primarily electro inspired music with a few experimental ID’s mixed and mashed in as well. They did manage to play some tracks by artists like QUIX & Matroda, Offaiah, and MK. Playing the main stage is surely a daunting challenge, and METAFO4R surely stepped up to the challenge. They delivered some tasty new music that compromises majority of the set.
