Following his well-received 2017 release ‘From Then On’, legendary DJ and producer Paul van Dyk is set to release his ninth studio album ‘Music Rescues Me’ this autumn on his label Vandit. To celebrate this impressive milestone, the German trance pioneer has announced he will headline a show at Printworks in London on October 12th to launch the album. Printworks has truly become one of Londons most sought after venues since its launch in 2017, hosting a myriad of impressive performances from the likes of deadmau5Steve Angello and Pendulum ‘s reunion show. The club was also named as ‘Club of The Year’ by Mixmag. In an official statement on his new album Paul van Dyk said:

“‘Music Rescues Me’ is an album deeply rooted in story-telling, mystery and adventure. It’s an exploration of trance, a journey through the breadth and depth of a genre that continues to enthrall me as an artist.”

Just over a year ago, Paul van Dyk was named the second most traveled musician of all time, falling just short of colleague Tiësto after travelling over 1.4 million miles since he began touring in 1990. The study was conducted by TravelBird, which placed the iconic trance legends above the likes of MetallicaSnoop DoggU2 and the Rolling Stones. Recently, the Paul van Dyk took to his Twitter to remind fans just how much trance still means to him after nearly three decades in the game, writing:

“Trance is more than music. It’s a lifestyle. It’s about community. It’s emotions turned into sound.”

Be sure to sign up to the Printworks website to receive more information about the PaulC

upcoming show, it is definitely not one you will not want to miss
