2018 has been an exciting year for KSHMR so far. The man behind some of dance music’s top tunes has come into the year with some impressive and inspiringly different works such as ‘Doonka‘ alongside MR.BLACK, the progressive masterpiece ‘Carry Me Home‘ in collaboration with Jake Reese and some major milestones including his EDM anthem ‘Jammu‘ recently turning 3 years old. He is also just back from a spectacular set at Tomorrowland, where he performed on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash The House Stage. The set truly resonated with die hard fans of the American DJ and producer, as it took them back to relive some of his greatest hits as well as some of his newer work from himself and his label Dharma Worldwide.
The set started with an incredible intro edit of his upcoming track ‘Neverland’ in collaboration with 7 Skies. build around his iconic orchestral and eastern sounds and creating an immense amount of energy. The track will come out on KSHMR’s own imprint Dharma Worldwide on August 3rd. He then proceeded to play some of his biggest hits, including his collaboration ‘Bazaar’ with Italian duo MARNIK. KSHMR also played an interesting ID which combined psytrance elements with some hardstyle sounds, before playing his anthem collaboration with Jake Reese ‘Carry Me Home’, the reaction to this progressive masterpiece was impressive, to the point where KSHMR himself felt compelled to say:
You’re such an amazing crowd!
The set was overall very energetic and filled with a wide variety of styles which seemed to really please the Tomorrowland crowd, showing once again KSHMR is one of the most capable and talented artists in the industry.
