Chicago-born DJ/Producer Ryan Raddon (better known by his stage name; Kaskade) has released a brand-new 18-track compilation album ‘Arkade Destinations: Tulum’ via his imprint Arkade. The album, which features music from an array of different artists, aims to bring more attention to the <128bpm side of electronic music.

In an interview with SiriusXM, Kaskade discussed his inspiration behind the album.

“I discovered Tulum [a town on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico] six years ago with my family. It was just one of those magical vacations with the family Enjoying time, sand surf, beautiful surroundings. I selected tracks that kind of, for me, went back to that initial moment, that original moment that I had sitting on the beach, hanging out, watching the sun go down.”

The Chicago-born DJ also cited the fans who had a greater appreciation for “the B-side stuff”. In a separate statement, Raddon explained he develops personal relationships with the moods of different spots, hence his decision to release his latest album. The album, as a whole, channels a calm, laid-back nature. Not intended for festival or club use, each track is catered towards winding-down after a long day, or just merely relaxing, putting the listener’s mind at ease.

In addition to featuring his newest track Give It Back, the album also contains tracks from the likes of Classic UnknwnLate Night AlumniLiplessFake BlondesFrankie Shakes and many more.
