Assuredly one of the pairings who have captured the mainstream market by storm, Big Apple’s very own The Chainsmokers duo are an act who turn each collaboration to gold. The pair, consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, have risen through the ranks and captured the radio waves hit after hit. In lieu of the same success and collaborative prowess, the two Americans looked to a third as they collaborated with L.A. based producer and DJ Tyler Marenyi, better known by his NGHTMRE moniker, for a mesmerizing and hard hitting single titled ‘Save Yourself‘.

While its performance on the charts is still ongoing, the track recently received its very own music video. Featuring Taggart at the start, the eerie video chimes in well with the style of production of the track – for which the duo moved away from their pop-style hits. Directed by none other than Jeremiah Davis and with VFX provided by Albin Larsson, the video presents the song through a CCTV-style footage and is slightly reminiscent of scenes from the Purge series. Ending with a ‘Save Yourself’ call to arms, it showcases scenes of unrest in the streets of L.A. All in all, another impressive delivery from Davis which goes well with the song, ‘Save Yourself’ finally has a video that fits correctly with its energy.

‘Save Yourself’ is available for purchase here.
