Few producers in world dance music can boast a more iconic back-catalogue than Axwell. The Swedish maestro has been a part of several inspirational projects throughout his career, including Steve Angello team-up ‘Supermode‘, and his current Λ project alongside Sebastian Ingrosso. Of course, Ax was also part of a little supergroup with both the affore-mentioned too – you might have heard of them – they go by the name ‘Swedish House Mafia.’

But outside of his collaborative work, Axwell has also cemented a reputation as a brilliant solo performer, amazing fans worldwide with his yearly sets at the likes of Miami Music Week, and Axtone‘s Tomorrowland stage. Back on this day in 2013, Ax released one of his most legendary tracks to date, the brilliantly euphoric ‘I Am’ with Sick Individuals, which dropped on his own ‘Axtone Records’ label. A true slice of progressive perfection, you can re-live the anthem below, with Axwell gearing up for a hugely busy year in 2019.

With the Swedish House Mafia reunion news set to drop any day now, fans worldwide are waiting nervously to find out if the trio – who have previously played to 60,000 ravers at the MK Bowl, and sold out New York‘s Madison Square Garden venue – will perform in their country next year.
