Sometimes, all you need is one breakthrough track to gain worldwide success. And luckily for Clean Bandit, this is what happened. The Electropop band from the United Kingdom had their career kick with ‘Rather Be’ together with singer Jess Glynne in 2014. Rather Be‘ is the kind of song with lyrics you will remember forever, even if you haven’t listened to the song in years. The track was part of the groups’ first album ‘New Eyes’ which also featured singles such as ‘Come Over’ with Stylo-G and ‘Real Love’ which also featured the voice of Jess Glynne. Now, 4 years after ‘New Eyes’, Clean Bandit have announced their second album – ‘What Is Love?’

The album is set to release on the 30th of November and will come in two different versions; the standard edition with 12 tracks and the deluxe edition with 16 tracks. The tracklist consists of a mix of new, never heard before tracks and already released tracks. Clean Bandit’s hits such as ‘Rockabye’ with Sean Paul and ‘Symphony’ with Swedish shooting star Zara Larsson will be part of What Is Love?‘ and so will ‘Solo’ featuring Demi Lovato. As if this composition of stunning collabs was not enough already, the album will also be full of new collabs with other internationally renowned artists. Namely, you will be able to find songs together with Luis FonsiEllie GouldingRita Ora, and Charli XCX.

Given the amount of collabs with all these superstars, the question is not going to be how many songs of What Is Love?‘ will be played on the radio, but rather which songs won’t. The success story of Clean Bandit, consisting of the brothers Jack and Luke Patterson and singer Grace Chatto, is remarkable. Starting off as an insider tip among electronic music fans, they now are amongst the top in the industry and on the radio. Make sure to check out the announcement of their new album What Is Love?’, and, of course, give it a listen once it releases later this year!
