David Guetta feat. Anne-Marie – Don’t Leave Me Alone (Oliver Heldens Remix)
There aren’t a lot of other DJs and producers out there that can compete with the fame that David Guetta achieved during his career. The Frenchman is not only known by fans of electronic dance music but also but any other person that listens to the radio every once in a while. Tracks such as ‘Titanium’ and ‘Flames, both in collaboration with Australian singer Sia, as well as hit songs like ‘Play Hard’ or ‘Dangerous’ have cemented Guetta’s status as a global music icon. Regardless of all his radio fitting songs, David Guetta also shares a deep friendship with multiple other big names in the industry. One of his closest friends is #1 DJ in the world, Martin Garrix, and Guetta has also been the mentor of another Dutch House heavyweight: Oliver Heldens. The 23-year old DJ and producer has been supported by Guetta ever since his breakthrough single ‘Gecko’ and even brought him as support act to his Listen Tour in 2015. Now, Heldens has shown what he learned over the years and remixed David Guetta’s single together with Anne-Marie: ‘Don’t Leave Me Alone’.
The remix of Oliver Heldens focuses on the well-known signature sounds of the Dutchman, which will give you the perfect groove for a dance. He mixes up the melodic vocals of Anne-Marie with a groovy and housey drop. If you know Heldens’ tracks like ‘Koala’ and ‘Ibiza 77’, you will immediately recognize the typical Heldens touch. Even though the festival season is as good as over, you will definitely hear this jaw-dropping tune in many DJ sets in clubs around the world – including Oliver Heldens shows, of course.
After ‘Don’t Leave Me Alone’ already received a Remix EP, on which even David Guetta himself remixed his own track, the Oliver Heldens remix is the 5th one already. This fact only shows how popular the tune is and will be in the coming months. Check out the groovy House remix below!
