Jack Back Mixtape (DJ Mix)

Over the last month, rumours have been circulating around whether the mysterious Jack Back identity could be a brand new David Guetta alias. The rumours have finally been confirmed as true and now the first official Jack Back mixtape has been unveiled, an hour of pure unadulterated house.

The mixtape shares no resemblance with any of David Guetta’s current releases and shows a completely different side to the producer. Often criticsed for his commerical sound, Guetta has well and truly shocked his critics by proving that his roots lie in the underground scene. Here’s what David Guetta had to say about the new Jack Back mixtape:

 “7′ represents a full cycle to me and that’s why I wanted to go back to the beginning of the cycle. I originally started in underground house music, playing all the raves and underground clubs in Paris. I wanted to make music just for fun, with absolutely no commercial approach to it. I want to make every type of music that I like, I’m doing it for the love of music.’’
