Home Uncategorized deadmau5 announces film score production debut

As one of the most incredibly talented music producers in the industry, you can count on Deadmau5 to produce some of the most spectacular tracks that captivate all types of music lovers and beyond. A pioneer of electronic dance music itself, the DJ makes sure to never pull short on any productions he delivers to the music community, always leaving fans wanting more. While we dropped the news that Deadmau5 had signed a new recording deal with Kobalt Music back in July, the news front for Mr Zimmerman had been rather quiet, albeit when the DJ got up to his usual antics on social media, recently ruffling some feathers. It’s safe to say we can report on some really exciting news that the producer has announced he is working on his first ever film score.

It was only a matter of time before Deadmau5 eventually crossed paths over to the film industry. After all, the way the Canadian churns out spectacular original track productions that pack energy, emotion, and trigger responses, we can’t think of a better electronic music producer for the job. Joel is set to debut his film score for the upcoming 2019 film production ‘Polar’. The movie, directed by Jonas Ã…kerlund, is an adaptation from the action noir comics with the same name and set to feature star Mads Mikkelsen, Matt Lucas, Vanessa Hudgens, and Katheryn Winnick.

From Deadmau5’s previous productions which include the iconic ‘Strobe‘ and most recently ‘Monophobia‘ with Rob Swire, we can begin to assume that everyone who views the upcoming film upon its release is in for a musically-pleasurable experience. We are definitely looking forward to this one. Check out the announcement below.
