David Guetta discusses creation process for new album

Enjoying one of the biggest years in his career so far, David Guetta has amazed audiences worldwide in 2018 with his stunning live shows across the globe. Performing two Ibiza residencies over the summer, the French superstar also played the main stage at Ultra Music Festival; the 20th edition of the iconic Miami event.

But for Monsieur Guetta, the biggest moment of 2018 came with the release of his stunning new album ‘7’. Featuring collaborations with acclaimed vocalists like Jess Glynne, Anne-Marie, Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and David’s long-time friend Sia, the album also featured a range of deeper club tracks under his ‘Jack Back‘ alias and team-ups with Black Coffee and Steve Aoki.

Now, Guetta has delivered an in-depth interview where he talks fans through his creation process for each track on the album, discussing tracks like ‘Like I Do’ with Martin Garrix and Brooks, adding:

“Martin Garrix is my little brother! We made this record and everyone thought it was just for the DJs but then it started getting played on radio and we were amazed because that doesn’t happen for a pure EDM record often!”
