By far one of the busiest electronic music producers this year alone, Marshmello is proving his worth as a dominant force in electronic dance music consistently moving from strength to strength. With ADE around the corner and a spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ list up for grabs, Marshmello could well be on his way to earning a spot higher than his previous position on the widely recognised list after reaching the final 10 last year. But right now, the Top 100 DJ list can take a seat as Marshmello continues to provide his fans with the electronic goods. Finally, while his antics have been less musically orientated since participating in Ninja Warrior and going undercover on GQ, the music producer has teased an upcoming collaboration with the best selling Middle Eastern artist of all time, Amr Diab.
On the weekend, Marshmello tweeted the word ‘Habibiiii’ (Properly spelt Habibi) on his social media leaving fans confused and wondering what it could well mean. In many ways a cryptic musical clue, the DJ took to his Twitter again the next day to reveal that he had a song with Diab in the works. The DJ wrote, “This song w @amrdiab is one of my faves”. In his tweet, Marshmello further stated the track was more of a love story then the usual party-ready bangers he normally produces. All we can say is Marshmello’s production abilities collaborating with the vocals of Amr Diab – who has over 16 million Facebook followers – for sure there is a chart-topping production on its way.

This song w @amrdiab is one of my favorites. It’s not a turn up song but more of a love story.
