Sound of Legend – Hold That Sucker Down

The mysterious Frenchman Zach, aka Sound of Legend, has returned with yet another slick house tune entitled, ‘Hold That Sucker Down‘. Coming off the back of his previous release, ‘Bella Ciao‘ the French persona has received support from some of dance music’s biggest names. Of course, accompanied by major support comes radio play and once again, amongst the unwavering support, Sound of Legend is extremely familiar to his songs reverberating across the airwaves as well. No matter, ‘Hold That Sucker Down‘ is a certified house groove, accompanied by an adventurous music video as well, Sound of Legend really channels his true superhero, saving us from the mundane.

The music video plays more on the aspect of a pure unadulterated adventure. It all starts with Zach taking a seemingly random couple in the dead of night on an adventurous day trip – the scenic drive, skydiving adventure, and mid-night grab and go, were all a part of a presumed dream, or so we think. It’s only at the tail end of the video do we see the harnesses and clips from their skydiving experience on the floor with the couple is lying in bed, leading us to believe the events actually turned out to be a reality. Nevertheless, while the video is a fun engaging concept it’ the tune which keeps us entertained. The full-bodied synths, soft effective builds, cinematic horns, and head-nodding ambiance give the tune a life of its own.
