Home Uncategorized Steve Aoki plans to expand pizza company Pizzaoki

Having dominated the electronic music scene for some years now, Steve Aoki has well and truly conquered the music industry during his time as a musician. In July, he branched out, starting his own pizza business called Pizzaoki. The growth of the brand has been truly exponential and he now has plans to expand, opening stores in five new LA locations.

Pizzaoki is set to open in Studio City, Downtown LA, Venice, and possibly Encino. Next year, the brand is set to branch out further across the US, opening in San Francisco, San Diego, Boston, Miami, New York and Chicago. Pizzaoki is even set to expand into Europe. Such high-speed expansion is generally unheard of, proving that the brand is already a huge success. Aoki set up the business with Lawrence Vavra and the pair have huge plans for the future. Vavra spoke to Forbes about the brand:

“When it comes to the number of places we want to open, we’re conservative about it. I think by the end of 2019 we’ll be closer to 15 to 20 Pizzaoki locations nationwide.”
