Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso’s Essential Mix turns 13 years old

With news on the Swedish House Mafia reunion tour set to drop any day now, today we throw it right back to 2005 to celebrate a stunning mix from two of the group’s legendary producers; Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. Having met in their youth through a shared love of Daft Punk, the duo were spinning together long before their SHM days and produced this incredible mix on this exact day 13 years ago.

Dropping in a wealth of their own early productions including Angello’s ‘Teasing Mr Charlie’ and ‘Chord’, the pair also stirred in sizzling thumpers from the lies of Style of Eye, Chemical Brothers, Steve Lawler, and Erick Morillo, with a highlight proving to be the JD Booty Mix of ‘Work This Pussy.’

An encapsulation of that slick and seductive dancefloor sound the duo were famed for in their early days, we’ve not often seen the Angello X Ingrosso combo in action much over the past few years, with Seb instead choosing to team up with Axwell on their widely acclaimed project. But with the Swedish House Mafia set to take over the world once more in 2019, we certainly hope to hear similar magic from Monsieurs Angello and Ingrosso over the next 12 months! You can relive this incredible Essential Mix below:
