Above & Beyond Seven Lions remix

Above & Beyond – Happiness Amplified

With Above & Beyond playing their ABGT300 show in Hong Kong last weekend, the event was also the subject of big headlines when the group’s very own Tony McGuinness revealed that new music was in the works. As well as dropping a flurry of fresh IDs from the Anjuna kitchen, the trio revealed that a new album was on the way in 2019, titled ‘Common Ground Companions.’

Today, the group have given fans an insight to the club-ready tones their new music  may possess with the incredible ‘Happiness Amplified’ club mix. One of the most popular tracks on their ‘Common Ground’ album, Happiness Amplified features soothing vocals and a wistful melody, but has now been given a barnstorming rework. The track is the second to have received this treatment with ‘Always‘ recently enjoying similar fate.

With both ‘Sahara Love’ and ‘Naked’ also given club mixes at the ABGT300 event, this might not be the last Common Ground remix we see arrive in 2018. Fingers crossed! Because this one is huge! Listen below…

Making the switch over from an established career in sports journalism to the world of dance music in 2016, Jake Gable has cemented a spot as one of the industry's most in-demand names during his tenure to date. Working on highly successful press campaigns for the likes of Tiësto, MK, and many more during his time at one of London's most premiere PR outfits, Gable has also proved his hand as a skilled journalist, interviewing acts such as Oliver Heldens, Martin Solveig, NERVO, and many more at international events like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Working tirelessly as the CEO & Founder of UK company The EVENT, Gable also doubles up as a tour manager, playlist curator, dance music influencer, and DJ, under his JK-GBL alias. Further adding strings to his bow as a freelance copywriter - where he has worked for numerous iconic artists such as Axwell, and labels, such as Third Party's Release Records - Gable is best known for producing two of the biggest editorials in We Rave You history; The first a breaking news story on Swedish House Mafia's return at Miami's Ultra Music Festival in 2018 (a world exclusive), and the second titled 'Avicii: The Truth...', an inquest into the EDM star's passing, published less than 24 hours after his death.
