Having set the world alight with another huge year filled with hit releases and spectacular live performances, DJ Snake has now releases the music video for his latest single his new single. The Pardon My French superstar, who has performed on the main-stage of Ultra Music Festival in Miami this year, as well as dropping huge hits like‘Let’s Get Ill’ teams up with global superstars Selena Gomez, Ozuna and Cardi B, for ‘Taki Taki.’

With such an important list of artists working on the track, it was guaranteed to be successful, ‘Taki Taki’ debuted at number 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart and has since gone viral, amassing over 33 million streams on Spotify. For a track to gain such widespread attention in such a short space of time is a huge accomplishment, even for an established artist like DJ Snake. Now the four artists have added by releasing a music video for the track.

Cardi B had correctly predicted the success of the track in an interview with Billboard last month, where she stated:

“I only heard it [Taki Taki] with Ozuna, then I find out Selena Gomez is gonna be on it, I’m like, ‘Oh shit, I know it’s gonna be a hit, It’s gonna be a really good hit. International hit. It’s very international.”

The video is set in a dark environment, with all four artists grooving to the infectious beat. The red clothes they wear makes them really stand out against the dark background and the evolving backgrounds keep it interesting to watch throughout as the artists take turns to perform their part. There is an interesting switch in scenery for Selena Gomez’s verse, as the environment transforms into a completely different jungle-like location, with DJ Snake vibing behind her. This keeps the video fresh until the end and shows the thought and effort which went into making it as good as possible.
