Following his indefinite retirement from touring, Hardwell has been met with an inundation of love and support form the electronic music community. However, the Dutchman’s love of performing has drawn him back to the stage for one last surprise show. The Revealed Recordings founder delighted fans last night at the label’s ADE night event at the Q-Factory, with an unexpected performance.

Thursday night was expected to be the Dutchman’s final show. Having curated a performance with Dutch Grammy-winning jazz and pop orchestra; Metropole Orkest, Hardwell entertained fans with music from across 3 decades, playing everything from Run DMC to Calvin Harris, and everything in between. Instead, he decided last night would be his terminal performance – debuting 2 new collaborations with Dannic and Mike Williams.

Following a whirlwind decade, the Dutch superstar, who also released a docu-movie in the form of ‘I AM Hardwell’, shocked the world back in September with his retirement announcement. Citing targets, interviews, deadlines, release dates and pressure as contributors to his decision, he stated he still intends to continue producing music.
