One of Belgians best and finest export is undoubtedly Lost Frequencies. The 24-year old from Brussel, who gained fame in 2014 with hit single ‘Are You With Me’  established himself in the Electronic Dance Music scene. With an own stage at Tomorrowland for a second consecutive year as well as his own signature shows in Belgium cement the status of Lost Frequencies. After his first studio album in 2016 called ‘Less Is More’ the Belgian has now announced his second album, coming out pretty soon.

During his tour in China, Lost Frequencies sat down with Billboard to discuss his upcoming album as well as his future plans and hopes. Even though he confirmed a new album ready to be heard, Lost is not planning on releasing it within the next weeks:

I don’t want to release my album too soon. I want to wait and see how the new single is developing.

Other than ‘only’ having his newest album in stock, Lost Frequencies now also want to push and develop new and talented youngsters, with his newly founded label Found Frequencies. If you have ever wondered where Lost Frequencies’ name came from, the DJ answered that question as well: The Belgian said that he got his influence for his tracks from old and nostalgic songs, or frequencies, who are often forgotten or lost. In terms of new music and if he has any kind of dream collab, Felix De Laet, Lost Frequencies real name, said:

I would love to do a track with MØ. I really love her music. She has a really special voice and a special vibe.

As we all know, MØ is a pretty common sight in EDM songs, especially when working together with Diplo or DJ Snake.  So, who knows, there might be a collab of MØ and Lost Frequencies in the future. But for now, check out his latest track together with The NGHBRS – ‘Like I Love You’!
