Martin Garrix makes surprise performance at Nicky Romero’s Protocol show during ADE
Every year, one of the most hyped events of all of ADE is when Nicky Romero joins forces with his Protocol Recordings ensemble and throws a huge show at a prominent club in Amsterdam to the delight of many. This years show featured absurd talent from the likes of Teamworx, Corey James, Deniz Koyu, Matisse & Sadko, and more. As if it couldn’t get any better, two time world #1 DJ Martin Garrix hit the stage to turn up the show at Melkweg to a whole new level.
Since its debut in 2012, the Protocol Recordings show has featured one of the best lineups of the week with some of the best energy you can find. This years show featured 16 artists across 2 rooms. The main room featured names like Maximals, Raiden, Tom Tyger, and the main himself Nicky Romero. The Protocol Lab room played host to artists like Antoine Delvig, Funkybeat, Faderx, and Thomas Newson. Over the years, Romero has brought in massive artists to be featured as the special guest. DJ’s such as Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano made an appearance. This year the Protocol Recordings’ boss invited Lucas & Steve, W&W and Martin Garrix.
Martin Garrix turned up the energy to a whole different level with his stage presence and indisputable performance antics. The city is filled to the brim with Garrix logos, his brand appears on every street corner, and his partnership with ADE can hardly go unnoticed. Watch out for plenty more Garrix action during the week.
