Home Uncategorized Martin Garrix’s festival hit ‘Virus’ turns four years old

If there’s one music producer killing it in the electronic dance industry, its young-gun Martin Garrix. Through sheer talent and his desire to be a DJ – notably adding that as a child his inspiration drew from watching fellow Dutchman DJ Tiësto – Martin carved his way through the crowd, climbing the producer ranks in quick succession, inevitably to be crowned the worlds best. His music production talent is unrivalled since breaking on to the scene with his iconic track ‘Animals‘ and since then the DJ has only got better with age. Throughout his career so far, Garrix has dropped a number of huge tracks that have spun well the electronic community, one of these tracks being his smash-hit ‘Virus‘, produced with MOTi and dropped on Spinnin’ Records. It’s just turned four years old.

Still able to entice goosebumps, ‘Virus‘ continues to be a mainstay play for the mainstage performances and a frequent go to track when Martin looks to unload his explosive nature on the crowd. From it’s recognisable ‘How About Now‘ vocals to one of the most infectious melodies Garrix has produced, ‘Virus‘ has without a doubt become and continues to be a fan favourite production and one of the finest progressive house tracks to be released in recent times.

There’s no faulting world number one DJ Martin Garrix and with ADE right on our doorstep, he will be one music producer not to miss in Amsterdam this weekend. On the topic of tracks, Martin is steadily realising his most recent productions in time for ADE with five tracks in the wings. You can listen to his latest one ‘Yottabyte‘ right now. Relive the great track that is ‘Virus‘ below.
