After jumping onto the electronic dance music scene in style and captivating millions of music lovers with his hard-hitting dubstep sound and with it, an arsenal of original releases. From ‘Scary Monsters And Nice Spirits‘ to ‘Bangarang‘. 2018 has been an interesting year for Skrillex so far, the American icon has been releasing and working on plenty of new, old and co-produced projects, but has been surprisingly inactive on the Skrillex side of things.

Things might change soon though as the American DJ and producer has been teasing some new Skrillex music on his social media. Earlier this month he’s been seen working on a remix for Travis Scott‘s ‘Sicko Mode’. Though there has been no confirmation yet, Skrillex has played this remix live at Listen Out 2018 in Melbourne, Australia and it sounds massive.

More recently, he took to his Twitter to tease yet another new Skrillex song, which might be coming sooner than we think. He posted a picture showing the project file of his upcoming collaboration with UK bass house producer JOYRYDE titled ‘Agen Wida’. JOYRYDE has been on an astronomical rise since emerging onto the bass house scene and playing his first show at Electric Daisy Carnival in 2016, producing some of the biggest tracks of the year. He’s also a returning artist to Skrillex’s label OWSLA, which is home to some of his biggest hits like ‘I Ware House’ and ‘Hot Drum’. In his recent exclusive We Rave You interview, JOYRYDE spoke about working on an EP and building a live show around it.

I want to make something more interactive with a show. I was inspired recently by Justice and Porter Robinson. I want to take a show like that… with a collection of music and build a show for it. A show with more an urban/industrial side as opposed to Robinson’s anime side.

You can see the artists’ tweets below and join the hype for this upcoming track which will no doubt be a smashing one.
