Wahlstedt – Close To You

Wahlstedt, is back with yet another house classic. From his earlier works such as ‘You & Me‘ to his hit ‘Magic City,‘ this time, the up-and-comer debuts his single ‘Close To Me‘ via LINC / Sony Music Sweden. Despite summer coming to an end, ‘Close To Me‘ gives off some incredibly beachy vibes. The tunes feel-good leads mixed with the mesmerizing topline and high pitched vocal chops, create an immediate sense of euphoria. The scorching hot tune is something you’re sure to hear in some of our favorites sets. The tune easily fits sets like those from Don Diablo, Galantis, R3HAB, and David Guetta so keep an ear out for the tune amongst some high profile names.

While the tune itself makes us simply want to skip fall altogether and move straight on to Spring, Wahlstedt isn’t in any sort of rush to move on from the year of success he’s had. Making an appearance at Sweden’s Amaze Festival and playing alongside artists like Adrian Lux, Otto Knows, and Steve Angello – Wahlstedt is certainly making a name for himself.

Not only was his festival appearance one for the books but the Swede also surpassed 15 million Spotify streams on his hit ‘Magic City‘ earlier in the year. On top of the tune’s early year success, it has received an additional million plays and gone RIAA certified Gold in Sweden since. More amazingly, he’s amassed his total 40+ million streams off the back of two years work, proving the artist’s incredibly recent rise. With the promise of another extremely successful year ahead of him, expect some incredible things to come from Wahlstedt.
