Zedd and Shawn Mendes team up to perform ‘Lost In Japan’ live at the 2018 AMA awards

With both artists dressed to impress for the 2018 AMA awards, both Zedd and Shawn Mendes teamed up for a sizzling performance of ‘Lost In Japan.‘ The tune comes off Shawn’s Billboard-topping album ‘Shawn Mendes‘ where another of 2018’s hits, ‘In My Blood,‘ finds it home as well. The stunning performance saw a beautifully orchestrated opening from Zedd who accompanied Shawn on the keys. Although the instrumental for the remix performance was heavily influenced by the accompanying band, both Shawn and Zedd were set up in the forefront of the lowly-lit stage.

Full of plenty of highs for several, the duo’s exquisite performance was definitely one of the many highs of the 2018 AMA’s. It even saw celebrity audience members such as 2018’s Best New Artist winner Camila Cabello, Vanessa Hudgens, and Carrie Underwood all grooving along to the stellar showing. The jammable orchestral performance of Zedd’s remix sure brought the place to life. Released just a couple of weeks proceeding the live showing (Sep. 27th) the remix already sports nearly 10 million streams on Spotify. Of course, both are very well established artists, but surely this is an achievement for both artists with the remixes reception.

Nevertheless, the duo’s work live is something else – take a glimpse of Shawn Mendes & Zedd’s rendition of ‘Lost In Japan‘ for yourself:
