On the Kinetic field during Electric Daisy Carnival’s 2018 edition, Alesso laid down an all star set. Kicking it off with his ID track titled “Drifter” for now, he blasted through some amazing tracks, young and old. Alesso has been in the news recently for starting a GoFundMe page after one of his friends was hit and badly injured. In the past few weeks, the DJ has been seen on prime time TV slots and out and about marketing his track “Remedy“. On November 9th, Alesso took the stage of EDC Orlando to deliver a show stopping set. You can find the whole list here.
Kicking things off with his track “Falling“, the crowd was mesmerized and was ill prepared for the slew of progressive sorcery that was to follow. He turned the energy alive playing his mashup of “Under Control” that rolls into the acapella of “Let You Down“. After that, some staple set tracks ensued before we got to hear the mashup mind of Alesso in full force. His edit “Magnificence vs. Daft Punk – Cobra vs. Move Like That vs. Around The World” was sure to hit hard as the next edit rolled by. As we heard “Years”, “Take My Breath Away“. and ” Sweet Escape”, we got to reminisce with some old Alesso classics.
Near the end of his set, the progressive house maverick closed things out with tracks like his remix of “I Wanna Know“, “If I Lose Myself“, and his mash up of Arty’s “Tim” with “Heroes”.
