Axwell & Ingrosso’s collaboration with Pusha T ‘This Time’ turns 3 years old

The world renowned tastemakers Axwell & Ingrosso have a handful of iconic singles in their discography. As their time as a duo seems to be coming to a pause, we can look back and celebrate some of their hottest records and collaborations. In 2015, Axwell & Ingrosso were at the top of their game, having just released their summer anthem “Sun Is Shining“, the boys were travelling the globe as one of the most in demand artists in the scene. In November of 2015, the duo released “This Time” alongside Pusha T.

The song was written by Terrence Thornton, Salem Al Fakir,Vincent Pontare, and of course, Axwell & Ingrosso. Known for its rap verse and blissful live edits during their shows, the track became a prominent staple in their sets for a couple years. Pusha T had apparently been looking to make more EDM records back then and when he was commissioned to supply the vocals for Axwell & Ingrosso, it was an offer hard to refuse. He is an American rapper who has had a successful career being signed under Def Jam Recordings, and Kanye West’s GOOD music imprint. Def Jam Recordings is associated with AxIng as well.

Although the track won’t necessarily go down as the duo’s best record, fans and listeners were impressed by the track for its ability to combine house and rap. With the next single to follow being “Dream Bigger”, the duo’s collaboration with Pusha T is an eclectic banger that surely will be played for years to come.
