Swedish megastar Axwell remains one of the most influential figures in the electronic music industry. Having released a number of huge hits over the years, both as a solo artist and as part of Axwell Λ Ingrosso and Swedish House Mafia, he has certainly earned his place in the history books. His last release as a solo artist ‘Belong‘ with Shapov remains incredibly popular and illustrates his capabilities as a producer. Now, his first solo release in two years has just landed and it sees him explore a completely different side of dance music.
‘Nobody Else‘ was released today, having been premiered on Annie Mac‘s BBC Radio 1 show a week ago. Many have compared it to Axwell’s early sound, and during his interview with Annie Mac, the man himself stated that it was ‘I Found U‘ that inspired the new track. One of the best things about Axwell is his ability to experiment and still excel outside of his comfort zone. ‘Nobody Else’ is a testament to this, a hard-hitting house anthem with a ferocious melody. The core elements of the track are what enable it to pack a punch, propelled by its aggressive kick. The addictive vocals also play a huge part in the track, ensuring that listeners will be hitting replay for years to come. The track has already proven hugely popular and will no doubt become a major feature in live sets throughout the winter months and into 2019.
